  • PBS Documentary discussion group

The IDEA group at Our Saviour's will be hosting a discussion group for PBS' new documentary "The Black Church." In "The Black Church," historian Henry Louis Gates, Jr. and his interviews covered 400 years of American history. That's a lot to take in! IDEA is hosting a Zoom discussion for PBS' "The Black Church" on March 2nd at 7:00 PM. Everyone is invited to discuss what we've learned and what it might mean for us today. Email Pastor Brian for the Zoom Link.

IDEA is a new group at Our Saviour's founded on the need for courageous conversations around topics of race, bias, privilege, and action. This PBS documentary offers us the opportunity to learn from one of the best public historians working today--Henry Louis Gates, Jr.--to learn about the rich, complex, and nuanced history of the Black church in America.

  • Care Coloring Notecard Project

Get creative, and color the fronts of notecards that will be sent by the Care Team to connect with those who are ill, grieving, or need a little extra care. Pick up a packet of notecards from the black bin near the front door of Our Saviour’s Campus. Simply color the front with crayons, colored pencils, markers, or a media of your choice. When you are done, return them in a zip lock bag to the mailbox located outside the front doors at Our Saviour’s Campus. No Experience is needed, and everyone is welcome to participate.

CARE Moms (College Age Requires Embracing) was founded to help both students and moms make the transition to college a bit easier. CARE Moms is a small, quiet but steady and consistent ministry that serves to remind our young adults that their church home is thinking of them, praying for them, and cheering them in all of their endeavors, whether they remain in Naperville or travel somewhere around the country. We send tangible messages that God is with them and for them -- no matter what! There is nothing required of them; it is a simple link to our community.

Moms meet monthly on the second Wednesday of the month to receive an extra bit of love, support, reassurance, and fellowship (Spring 2021 meetings will be held March 10 and April 14, all at 7pm). The format and location of each meeting will be communicated one week in advance, either on Zoom or in person if guidelines allow. CLICK HERE to learn more and register.

The front office is available Monday - Friday from 9am -12pm. Please call the front desk to be let in when you arrive at 630-355-2522.
