Sue loves spending time with her grandchildren (3 little girls who live in Wisconsin), creating things in the kitchen, and eating tacos and chips from her favorite Naperville taco fusion grill.
People are usually surprised to learn that Sue is a certified carillonneur. She regularly plays recitals on the Naperville Millennium carillon and has played recitals across the US, and even in Australia. She obviously has no fear of heights since most playing cabins are placed in bell towers, high in the air.
Sue communicates her gift of music with others when she plays piano and organ for worship services, accompanies Sanctuary choir and Eagle’s Wings, and collaborates with instrumentalists. Sue has been engaged in church music since the early 1990s and completed her Masters in organ performance from NIU in 1998.
