National Caregivers Month

Behind Every Caregiver Is a Story.

A story of love, commitment, sacrifice, and often, challenges that others may never see.

Throughout November, we'll recognize and support the many people caring for family members and loved ones. Jesus teaches us to love our neighbors, and sometimes that love looks like a listening ear, a helping hand, or simply letting someone know they're not alone.

Over the next four weeks, we'll explore the realities of caregiving, share helpful resources, highlight the importance of connection, and celebrate the people who give so much of themselves. Whether you're a caregiver, know someone who is, or want to learn how to support someone, we hope you'll follow along.

Caregiver's Journey meets on the last Friday of each month at 9:00 am, in the Bonhoeffer Conference Room at the Our Saviour's Campus.

Weekly Resources

  • Caring for someone is an expression of love, but it isn't always easy. Millions of people provide care for family members and loved ones while balancing jobs, families, and their own responsibilities. The physical and emotional demands can be significant, yet often go unseen.

    Did You Know?

    • More than 50 million U.S. adults provide unpaid care to loved ones.
    • Approximately 85% of long-term care services are provided by unpaid caregivers.

A little encouragement goes a long way.

Jesus showed us what it means to love others through compassion and action. We can carry that example into our everyday lives by noticing where help is needed and finding ways to show up.
