      • One Sunday Worship Service & Pet Blessing: THIS Sunday, October 4, 10:00 am at the Celebration Campus. New staff installation: Pastor Anna Roper, Matthew Felbein, and Kevin Andrews. Following worship, have a coffee meet-and-greet with all OSLC staff.  (Saturday worship will be at 5:00 pm in the sanctuary).

    • Join the Celebration Music Team: There’s always room for another voice or instrument! Rehearsals are now on Mondays from 7-8:30 pm, at the Celebration Campus. Bring your voice, your instrument, and your love of music!
    • Senior Lunch: Monday, October 5, Noon, Our Saviour's Campus, Fellowship Hall. RSVP to the church office.
    • Vaccine Clinic: Tuesday, October 6, 9 am - 11 am, Our Saviour's Campus, Bonhoeffer Conference Room. No registration required. Flu, Covid, Shingles, and Pneumonia vaccine shots offered. Bring proof of insurance.
    • Banned Book Club: Join the conversation about banned, challenged, and eye-opening novels. Upcoming discussions: Martyr! by Kaveh Akbar, Wednesday, October 7, 7 pm; and The Nickel Boys by Colson Whitehead, Tuesday, November 17, 7 pm. Both meet at the Our Saviour’s Campus.     • Chili Cook-Off: Wednesday, October 7, 5:30-6:30 pm, Our Saviour’s Campus, Fellowship Hall.     • Dusek School Coffee and Chocolate Sales: Weekend of October 10-11, both campuses and all services.
    • Mozambique Mission Mixer: Monday, October 12, 7:00 pm, Classroom 1, Our Saviour's Campus. Come for wine, cheese, and a taste of the mission! Whether you’re a current team member or thinking about joining, you’re invited. Come hear what’s happening in Chimoio, meet others connected to the mission, and imagine where God might be calling you to be part of the story. New faces especially welcome!     • Room4Both Kick-Off Meeting: Monday, October 12, 7 pm-8:30 pm. This small group brings together adults in the LGBTQIA+ Community from across DuPage and Will counties who are exploring how faith and spirituality shape our lives, identities, and experiences, including our experiences of queerness. We come from different faith traditions and places along the spiritual spectrum, creating space to share, question, listen, and grow together. (Meets the 2nd Monday of each month.)     • Christmas Cantata 2026: A Promise Fulfilled: Practices begin Wednesday, October 14, 6:45 pm at the Our Saviour's Campus. Schedule for rehearsals and performance.
    • Family Bingo & Stewardship: God Works, We Play! Friday, October 16, 6-8 pm, Our Saviour’s Campus, Fellowship Hall. Bring the whole family and join us for a fun evening together with bingo, pizza, drinks, raffle prizes, and plenty of laughs! Complete your 2027 Stewardship card and receive extra raffle tickets. Come enjoy some time together as a church family! Register today!
    • CROP Hunger Walk: Sunday, October 18. Join our SALT 4th and 5th graders as they walk with Our Saviour’s to help fight hunger in our community and around the world. Bring your family, invite a friend, and come walk together as we support Loaves and Fishes and the Northern Illinois Food Bank. Join the Our Saviour’s Team. 
    • Women’s Ministry Nature Walk: Saturday, October 24, 9-11 am, Knoch Knolls Park. Join us for a mindful 1.5-2 mile walk, with stops along the way to explore God’s creation, reflect on God’s Word, and cultivate a greater sense of awe, gratitude, and peace. Meet on the back deck of the Knoch Knolls Nature Center. Free, but registration is required as it is limited to 30 participants. Dress for the weather and wear comfortable walking or hiking shoes.     • Little Free Pantry: Thank you for continuing to help keep our Little Free Pantry outside Door #3 stocked for our neighbors! Supplies are starting to dwindle, and the fastest-moving items are peanut butter, almond butter, jam, toothpaste, and toothbrushes. If you’re able to donate, please leave items on the shelves outside the Bonhoeffer Conference Room at the Our Saviour’s Campus. And if you need something, please help yourself!

    • Moving Up Meal for Loaves & Fishes: Monday, October 26, 5:00–6:30 pm, 580 Exchange Ct. #1200, Aurora. Help prepare and serve a meal for participants in the “Moving Up” program at Loaves & Fishes, a goal-setting and self-sufficiency program that helps participants build financial stability. If you’re unable to serve that evening, you can drop off food donations at the Our Saviour's Campus church kitchen, 815 S. Washington Street, between 9:00 am–2:00 pm that day. Sign up here.
    • Pet Loss Grief Support Group: First Saturday of each month, 1:30-2:30 pm, DuPage County Animal Services, 2255 Manchester Road, Wheaton. A compassionate space to share memories and connect with others who understand pet loss. Free, but registration is required. Email cindyshealingheart@outlook.com to reserve a seat.
    • NAMI DuPage Living Room Expands to 24/7 Support: Beginning Thursday, October 1, NAMI DuPage’s Living Room will expand to provide 24/7 peer-led mental health crisis support for adults 18 and older. The Living Room offers a safe, non-clinical space where people experiencing a mental health crisis can receive immediate support from Certified Recovery Support Specialists with lived experience. Services are free, and walk-ins are welcome.

    • The Crew: Worship Volunteer Training: Saturday, October 17, 9:00–11:00 am, Our Saviour’s Campus. Whether you’re a familiar face on The Crew or just getting started, join us for a morning of getting equipped, learning together, and connecting with other worship volunteers. We’ll start with a quick walk-through of Planning Center, followed by breakout sessions focused on the different ways you can serve during worship. Bring the phone, iPad, or laptop you use to access Planning Center. Whether you serve at Our Saviour’s Campus or Celebration Campus, there’s a place for you on The Crew. We’re looking forward to seeing how God works through you!


    • God Works Through the Gifts We Share: We are blessed to have so many volunteers assisting in worship. If you have volunteered during worship as an assisting minister, cantor, coffee host, tech booth volunteer, reader, altar guild member, usher, communion assistant, prayer minister, visual arts volunteer, or set-up volunteer, thank you! As God continues to work in us, we are called to be active participants in worship. If you feel called, we encourage you to explore the many opportunities to share your gifts!
