• The MEGA Garage Sale is one of the largest outreach events at Our Saviour's. What begins as donated household items, clothing, toys, books, décor, outdoor furniture, and hidden treasures becomes meaningful support for ministries, mission partners, and families in need.


    Together, shoppers, volunteers, and donors make it possible to:

    • Provide affordable goods for area families.
    • Support hunger relief, education, wellness, and community care.
    • Offer in-kind donations to local organizations and individuals.
    • Raise funds that strengthen local and global mission partnerships.

    Items that remain after the sale continue serving our community through donations to organizations such as Wayside Cross Rescue Mission, local pet shelters, and LAHPERO, which collects gently used sports equipment for youth athletics.

  • Whether you have an hour or several days, every helping hand makes a difference.

    Volunteer opportunities include:

    • Receiving and sorting donations
    • Organizing merchandise
    • Setting up displays
    • Assisting shoppers during the sale
    • Clean-up after the event
    • Providing hospitality for volunteers

    No special experience is needed, and you can volunteer as your schedule allows.

    • Don Friend, Member and Volunteer: Wow! Just Wow! I am so amazed by this event and by how OSLC and the Naperville Community come together to impact the lives of so many whom we will never know. Quality donations and generous volunteers help to pull off something so amazing. I can only imagine how many exhausted volunteers there are and how many seeds of faith were sown over the last 11 days. There is an old adage that says “many hands make light the work”. This is so true with this event. Over 200 volunteers amassed more than 4,500 donated work hours, with OSLC congregational members providing over half of those hours. Our youthful visitors from Slovakia provided much-needed muscle for cleanup on Saturday. It definitely takes a team to pull off this event, and the funds received will be distributed 100% (after expenses) to our Outreach Missions. What is amazing is that we keep surpassing the previous sales. In 2025, we grossed $54,139, while this year, 2026, we grossed $58,343! So to all of those who donated treasures, worked on setup, donation acceptance, the sale days, and cleanup, words cannot say THANK YOU loud enough!

    • Donate Items (During Drop-Off Days, TBD): Household goods, books, toys, clothing, décor, outdoor furniture, kitchen items, and other gently used treasures are always appreciated.
    • Donate Refreshments: Help care for our volunteers by providing lunches, snacks, or concession donations during sale week.
