Adult Ministries

“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything that I have commanded you.” ~ Matthew 28:19-20

Adult Ministries creates space for healthy and diverse faith conversations and helps build relationships between participants and God. Mutual care also is done in small groups and by making friends in adult ministry activities. When you are going through a tough time, your group can pray for and support you. You can give back to them as well.

Adult Ministries reflects Our Saviour’s mission of Knowing Jesus and Making Jesus Known. To know Jesus is to be nurtured in faith through study and community connections.

Throughout the week, there are a variety of opportunities that support adults in continuing to form their faith. And for those who think they don’t know enough to participate: All are welcome! No previous knowledge required.

  • Bible Journaling

Bible Journaling is a creative way approach to the discipline of reading the Bible. By using pens, markers, colored pencils, and other creative tools you can meditate on God's Word. Some people choose to journal as an expression of private devotion or meditation, as an act of worship, or simply as a way to relax. No previous experience or skills are needed - Simply embrace Bible Journaling with an open mind and a willingness to experience scripture creatively.

  • care moms

CARE Moms (College Age Requires Embracing) was founded to help both students and moms make the transition to college a bit easier. CARE Moms is a small, quiet but steady and consistent ministry that serves to remind our young adults that their church home is thinking of them, praying for them, and cheering them in all of their endeavors, whether they remain in Naperville or travel somewhere around the country. We send tangible messages that God is with them and for them -- no matter what! There is nothing required of them; it is a simple link to our community.
