Chris has been a part of Our Saviour’s since 2002 and felt at home ever since walking through the doors for the very first time. He knew and was greeted by former Pastor Al Creighton and his son Brad (the youth director at the time) who were members of his former church, New Life Lutheran in Bolingbrook, where he grew up.
After studying Vocal Music Education at Northern Illinois University, Chris went back and directed the New Life Singers, the high school choir in which he grew up. When Lynn Panosh (our worship director at the time) found out about him, she slowly reeled him and now has become a huge part of Our Saviour’s.
Chris has been singing ever since he can remember and sang professionally for 26 years as a part of Ac•Rock an a cappella rock group based in Chicago. He now brings his knowledge and experience to help direct the Celebration Band and Eagle’s Wings Choir. He loves working with kids and making people smile and laugh. He also has a knack for scaring people “unintentionally”. LOL
One thing that many people may not know about Chris is that he actually has 4 kids! He and his wife Tami have their daughter Rylee but, he also has what he calls his three “bonus” sons, Jason, Jesse, and Danny, whom he loves as his own.
Chris loves sharing his love of Christ and feels blessed to be called to serve here at Our Saviour’s. He is grateful to be able to share his many gifts and love of music and technology to help us go out and “Make Jesus Known!”
