Jean enjoys spending time with family and friends, gardening, Bible journaling, and creative interior design projects. Her family has been active members at Our Saviour’s since 1995.
Jean’s passion for working in the church was modeled by her parents, who served in her childhood congregation in Villa Park, IL. “Serving in the church was part of our daily life growing up. My parents were at the church a few days a week working on various projects, and as kids, we often were there working side by side with them.”
Jean brings creativity, relationship building, strategic thinking, and collaborative team-building skills to her position as Director of Administration. You will often find Jean brainstorming and problem-solving in the areas of communications, human resources, facilities, finance, general administration, and other day-to-day operational activities. She is sometimes referred to as Elastic Girl, from The Incredibles movie, as she remains flexible and ready to jump into action when the need arises. She feels honored and blessed to work alongside the wonderful staff and people of the Our Saviour’s faith community.
Jean is a graduate of Northern Illinois and majored in Interior Design. She is committed and passionate about participating in leadership development and project management courses to help her align herself best in her current role. Before working at the church, Jean held corporate positions in such companies as Hallmark Cards and McDonald’s Corporation.
