Ben sloss

Associate pastor

Pastor Ben Sloss (he/him) joined the Our Saviour's community as associate pastor in June 2023, with a special focus on youth and family ministry. Previously, Pastor Ben served as associate pastor for youth and family ministries at Grace Lutheran Church in La Grange. He holds a master of divinity from Trinity Lutheran Seminary and previously served at Trinity English Lutheran Church in Fort Wayne, Indiana, and St. Paul Lutheran Church in Columbus, Ohio.

Pastor Ben and his wife, Tracie, a not-for-profit development director, are parents to Ethan and twins Grace and Lily. They live in Downers Grove, and Pastor Ben enjoys hiking, yoga, playing the piano and ukulele, and trying out new tech in his spare time.

Pastor Ben has extensive experience supporting ministry to young people and families, and he is excited to work collaboratively with staff and volunteer teams to turn new ideas into reality.

His favorite Bible verse is John 1:1: ""In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God."
