Pastor Elisabeth Pynn Himmelman (she/her) serves as Associate Pastor at Our Saviour's Lutheran Church, with a focus on church engagement. She joined the Our Saviour's community in July 2023 after moving with her family to Illinois from Kearney, Nebraska, where she served as associate pastor for youth and young adults at First Lutheran Church. Pastor Elisabeth also served as campus pastor for Campus Lutheran, a young-adult ministry at the University of Nebraska-Kearney.

Pastor Elisabeth grew up in Walnut Creek, California, and graduated from Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma, Washington, with a bachelor's degree in psychology. She then completed her master's degree in social work and worked in youth ministry for more than a decade before following the Holy Spirit's call to ordained ministry. 

Pastor Elisabeth and her husband, Jacob, a licensed architect, welcomed son Jens in 2012. Pastor Elisabeth attended seminary in Madison, Wisconsin, and worked as an on-call chaplain at SSM St. Mary's Hospital in Madison while attending school.
