Getting Started:
Request the date - As soon as you have chosen a date for your wedding, please complete the
Wedding Date Request Form.
Date confirmation - The Life Events Coordinator will contact you within a week regarding availability and to discuss Wedding Policies, the required deposit and fees. The Fee Schedule includes facility use and sanitation, (sanctuary, bride's room and groom's room), Wedding Coordinator, Musician (piano or organ), Sound Tech, the Honorarium amounts are due three weeks before the wedding.
Secure the date - Once the wedding date is confirmed, your deposit is required to secure your wedding date along with a more detailed Wedding Information Form. If another request is received for your date and we have not received your deposit, you will be notified and given 48 hours to make the deposit. If the deposit is not made with 48 hours you will forfeit the reservation.
Officiating Pastor - If you have not chosen a pastor, one will be assigned based on availability. Contact and meet with the assigned pastor to talk about next steps. When it is desired that a pastor from outside our parish participate in the wedding service, please have the officiating pastor contact the Life Events Coordinator at Our Saviour's at (630) 281-4210.
Choose your Music - Contact and meet with the Our Saviour's Wedding Music Consultant at least three weeks prior to your wedding.
Wedding Coordinator - An Our Saviour's Wedding Coordinator will be assigned to your wedding and will contact you within two months of the wedding. Additionally, a Host will be onsite to facilitate your rehearsal and wedding.
Wedding workshop - We highly recommend that your take the Premarital Program offered by SamaraCare Counseling. This workshop is designed to equip couples with the essential tools needed to begin building a strong foundation for a healthy relationship. The sessions are offered twice year, on a Saturday from 9:00 - 4:00 pm and includes materials, breakfast, lunch, the online PREPARE/ENRICH survey and licensed counselor fees. Go to www.samaracarecounseling.org/services/premarital-programs/ for more information, dates and to register. There is a cost for this workshop. Talk to your Pastor if this service is not available.
For Offsite Weddings:
Confirm the date - Confirm your date with the requested pastor. (There is a Pastor Fee).
Complete - the Wedding Information Form.
